Nami has been friends with Ryouku since they were children. But ever since they watched a kiss scene on TV, Ryoku became a "kissing monster." After entering middle school, Nami is getting confused, wondering what kind of relationship she has with him.
First off, what boy in his right mind at the age of 9 wants to kiss a girl? Boys I knew were always disgusted with kissing, even when their mother kissed them on the cheek so what the hell makes a boy actually want to kiss a girl and not care about ‘cooties’. Not to mention that he keeps forcing this girl to keep kissing him. That’s sexual harassment and it just keeps happening over and over again. At one point, she calls herself a masochist but I never seen her even do anything like that except for letting him kiss her and if everyone who lets someone kiss them is a masochist, then I feel sorry for the world (Nothing against if your into that stuff). The artwork is standard. Not really bad but not all that good either. It’s bland considering all that I have read. Again, not something I would read again, it’s just made me scratch my head a bit because they seemed to just have the wrong ideas going on.
Ever since elementary school, Ryoku has been kissing Nami casually, so fe thinks it means nothing to fem and that fe's just using fem as a tool to relieve feir stress. To be fair though, this is a completely justified conclusion to reach since fe clearly enjoys toying with fem and using fem just because fe can--like when fe asks fem to wait in a line for a video game even though fe doesn't give a crap about the video game, or when fe gives fem a handful of candies and then immediately takes them back from fem with no explanation, or the fact that fe's blackmailing fem into accepting feir kisses. The manga almost seems to act as though it's acceptable for the guy to be a horrible person because fe's a "sadist" (and that's just how sadists do), but yea, no it's not okay. Fe's a horrible person and I don't feel that fe deserves to have the happy ending fe gets. Also, why did Yuuko ask Nami to give Ryoku feir love letter for fem? Fe clearly has opportunities to talk with fem and fe's clearly not too shy to confess on feir own, so why did fe use the roundabout and unreliable method of having a third-party deliver the letter? The only reason I can think of is that the manga needed a dramatic way to portray Nami being forced to come to terms with feir own feelings, but this setting is so stupid and contrived that it ruins the drama.
