At a glance, high-schooler Moran Baek appears to be a beautiful girl who’s perfect in every way… or so it would seem. In reality, she is an exiled demon who has been trapped in a human body for over 5,000 years. When she learns that she is still unable to use her demonic powers despite finishing her exile, Moran despairs and struggles to find a way to become a demon again. One day, she accidentally discovers that doing a good deed restores her powers, and sets out to find a way to keep doing good deeds so she can return to her devilish ways.
This story is so funny and such a vibe! What I like most about is that the plot is moving along. You can see our demon actually get back her powers at a normal pace. Unlike most 'sitcom' manhwa this one actually has progress. It's not episodic and feels like there is an actual end-goal not just everyday life. Our FL acts like a demon which is nice and the plot is fun and interesting! Reviewed at chapter 37
This was pretty good! It became a little grating around the halfway mark, but I did perservere and it did become better. The story seemed light hearted at first, but it did delve into something darker. I didn't really like how they deviated occasionally from the main plot of "do good deeds to get powers back." The art was also pretty good and pretty damn silly. Also, it has some LGBTQ+ moments 😍 some of the characters were androgynous and used both he and she pronouns. 8/10 would read again Trigger warnings: suicide, stalking
I have mixed feelings about this one. I think the premise of the story is really interesting but it felt very rushed. The plot would often deviate or try to juggle too much at once. I forced myself to read it all the way through since it's a pretty short manga anyway. The story kept introducing a bunch characters without giving them much depth. Even the main characters felt a bit flat. Tbh I think Geumgang (supporting character) was the only one given a decent backstory. The ending was a disappointment as well. There was just so much buildup but the resolution was so anti-climactic. In other words, I think this story could have been great if it was executed properly.
