This is my first time writing any type of review for a manga. I'll try my best to not include any spoilers.

STORY: First of all the story starts out great and is very intriguing. The MC is your regular joe with a sense of what is right and wrong. He is seemingly oblivious to the mafia and crime that is going on aroung him until two new people move into rooms in the building where he also works in a movie rental store. His two new neighbors seem to be hiding something and although later on it is shown they work in the underworld, he still treats them as he would anyone else although sometimes he struggles to reconcile the feelings he has when he sees people do things that are deemed as "bad". You can see as his character goes from strong-willed, although he is not very capable, to someone who just resigns himself to what is happening. The story is interesting with a little romance thrown in, but the ending in my opinion was absolutely terrible. If it had gone a different way I would give this manga a much higher rating, alas I was stuck with an ending that made me feel confused.

CHARACTERS: The two main charactors are Gohongi and Mei, an adult male in his twenties who works in a video store and a fifteen year old girl who incidentally also works as a hitman, respectively. Gohongi seems to be the moral compass of the manga. Although he becomes friends with people in the mafia he tries to stay out of the ensuing gang war going on around him. He is someone who is willing to help anyone if they are in need of help or in danger regardless of whichever side they are on. One problem I have with the story is some of the choices he makes which to me are baffling. They seem to be way out of his character and his decision making will go one way and on the next page he does something that is very contradictory to his previous actions. Mei on the other hand is straightforward and although she works as a hitman it is revealed why she does so and her motivation to keep going is something most anyone would do. I found it weird how although she is 15 she looks like she is 11. This can be seen as a way to put more shock into the actions she is involved in since it is a little scary to see this little, innocent looking girl do some terrifying things.

Overall I would recommend this to anyone who wants to read something interesting, with action and violence, although I must warn of scenes of attempted rape and although someone is raped I am not sure if they actually show it although it is implied and you know what happened. So if you can stomach that sort of thing then go ahead and read it though I must warn you that the ending may leave you dissatisfied.

6/10 story
