This is a great story that reminds me a lot of Whutering Heights of Emily Bronte it tells the story of a maid that enters a household of some upper standing familly in the landscape of the 18th century England. She is called to attend to the young miss who is mistreated by her father who is himself feared by the whole household. The maid and the young miss grow fond of each other but a series of trouble will come along the way and some drama. This is quite a dark story which is not for everyone but I strongly recommend it!

It’s a very gripping GL story like Lady Eileen who is the lady of the house is physically as well as emotionally abused by her scum of the earth father, Lord Rose. She also has a housemaid Lynda who looked to be in love with her “supposed mother but sister” Lady Katherine. Marie who is the new maid of the Rose household was appointed as someone to look after poor Eileen. The two fell in love and try to ensure they get outta the house together. This is well worth 39 chapters to ensure you get the full package of a GL set in the 1800’s!

10 out of 10 why because the plot twist is so wow the story is really is something full of history full of mystery our main character is really cute the effort of Author so worthy.
