Sugita is a handsome, skilled newcomer at a company who gets along with everyone… everyone except for the petite assistant manager, Yumihara, who tend to be very strict on him. One day during his lunch break, Sugita finds a small, secluded coffee shop named "Dead Copy" which features special tables dedicated for playing retro games. To his surprise, he also spots Yumihara completely immersed in her game like a child; opposite of the strict attitude she shows back at the office.
At the beggining, Game Yaru kara 100-en kashite! is mostly short stories about Sugita and Yumihara becoming closer while playing retro game at lunch. that remind me of "Love is Like a Cocktail" (even if I didn't read it all) in the display : It's 1 chapter, 1 game, 1 slice of romance life. I'd liked it, it was fun in the middle, the story become more straight, with chapters following the others. less fun, more "traditionnal" romance story with a "tsundere" character, somehow childish, pretty much school romance like. Even it's not bad, you read the last volume only to see if they closed the gap. It was cool anyway, and it's short, the ~14ch first chapter can be read as stand alone stories. So you can still give it a try
