Sawa Mitoma, a nervous, skittish girl who prefers minimal human contact, has just started high school, and it's already not going well...until she meets the "it" boys-the "prince-like" Mutsuki and the sharp-tongued Hajime. But little does she know, they're Sohmas!?

I loved the original series so when I heard there was a sequel I was very hapopy and skeptical. After reading the story though I fell in love with this story too and was not the least bit disappointed. There are so many connections to the main story and it was really fun trying to see if I recognize them all. If you have loved the first series and can stand some slow updates then this story is one you'll love just as much as the original.
It's honestly quite a good story for only being a few volumves long, and considering that it's a sequel to, quite frankly, one of the best romance manga of all time (at least in my opinion,) It can hold it's own. Overall, the story wasn't as strong, but the characters were still pretty great, and the art was really nice to look at. When it comes down to it though, it's not quite what I was hoping to get from the sequel series, as it follows the children of the original characters, as opposed to the original Furuba cast themselves. I can understand why this was done, but it was still slightly dissapointing, regardless. Overall, pretty good story, strong cast, and art that honestly is better than the original series. Any die-hard Fruits Basket fans will likely get a lot of enjoyment out of this story.
