Fox-Colored Jealousy

This is just so, so, so, so cute. Our main character is possessed by a fox and stays at a friend's(?) house. For some reason, whenever he's with that friend, his ears and tail pop out. That aside, this is adorable and worth reading if you're looking for something to cheer you up.

I think this is the 3rd time reading this cute little manga! >///< Like omg the fox spirit is so adorable! <3 (SPOILER) If you did not like the wolf guy then you have to read "Kind of a Wolf" where he is the main character and you will totally fall in love with him! >w<

I find the faces to be sloppy--with the proportions being inconsistent, the lines being simple, and them generally just not being very attractive. I especially don't care for Akiha's glimmery excited eyes or some of the other emotive looks. I found the story somewhat cute, but I also felt like it could've explored the premise more thoroughly. In other words, it didn't go beyond surface-level ideas; it didn't make Akiha's dual personalities feel genuine. The premise of the story is that Akiha has a fox spirit within fem that sometimes takes over feir body. The fox spirit falls in love with Yukuri and has no inhibitions about it, which causes some awkward moments; but eventually Akiha femself also falls in love with Yukuri, so everything sorta works out. There's some other drama concerning Yukuri's kindness and concerning Akiha not standing up for femself, but I never really felt all that connected to the characters and the plot just ended up feeling somewhat contrived (like, they fell in love with each other because that's what the author needed them to do in order to wrap the story up). But it's still sorta cute and enjoyable in the moment, I guess, so I can't fault it too much.
