I think this manga is average. The ending is open and the story isn’t anything unique or particularly fascinating. I’ll admit it has good pacing but the art is sub par. The characters develop over time, but they never actually go through any changes. Honestly, I’m not sure what this comic was trying to achieve. With that said it isn’t...bad just average.

It irks me when romantic stories lean on hyperbolisms like "the sort of love that only comes around once in a lifetime" and "destined love." I recognize that it's framed that way as an implicit refutation of the way the father minimized the importance of their relationship by saying that people fall in and out of love all the time, but it's still a bit much. In addition to showing the development of an emotional bond between two lovers, this story also deals with the judgmental nature of (that) society towards gay people.

The art is unimpressive at its best and outright ugly at its worst. There's a lack of backgrounds, splotchy screentones, and choppy outlines. Body positions and head angles feel a bit off, and the hairline's interaction with the forehead changes from panel to panel. Forearms curve forward unnaturally.
