UPDATE - Have you all read the latest chapters? The story is off the rails. IDK WTF is happening anymore. At this point, I think the mangaka has been told to hurry up and wrap things up. I can't make heads or tails of what's happening anymore. ***SPOILER*** People are dying left and right, Shinra and Sho are debating philosophy with Haumea, and out of nowhere, their mother, who turns out to be an infernal, just shows up, and Shinra fused together with her and Sho to become "Shinra Banshoman." And then Haumea has just transformed into her final form, "Crying Holy Girl." LMFAO this is such a dumpster fire ***END SPOILER***... --- TL;DR - Started off interesting but has largely lost a lot of its appeal. There are a lot of mangas with great premises and a lot of promise, but they end up taking a nosedive after a certain point. High-Rise Invasion had an incredible nearly 200 chapters, and then the rest of it was absolute junk. Twin Star Exorcists also had a great premise and started off extremely interesting and entertaining, but repeated plot convenience, random events that stopped making sense, and repeated time-skips ruined it. Fire Force is, unfortunately, one of those mangas. The world that the author has built is extremely interesting. I love a lot of the characters too, and the art style perfectly matches the aesthetic of the world the mangaka has created. But also around the 200 mark, stuff just starts going off the rails. Unexpected time skip. Lots of things unexplained. Lots of plot convenience. Lots of the jokes and references in chapters 240 and beyond seem really forced and honestly kind of annoying. The latest villains are jokes. I'm just bummed. I'm always so bummed when really good mangas just shit themselves like this.

From the creator of Soul Eater, need I say more? This is part of the new shounen wave. Demon Slayer and Fire Force (and a few others) are stories that satiate that itch you may have after the end of Naruto and Bleach. The MC Shinra is particularly a Naruto-esque, type of character. Both Naruto and Shinra have been the outcast of society for different reasons, Naruto because of the tailed beast and Shinda because of his mother's unfortunate demise. The major elements of the story are after the world almost ended, a new civilization arose, but with the new civilization came new predators, A world where people have started combusting into flames out of nowhere. A religion that seems super shady An amazon industry called Haijima, that is working behind the scenes. And a special Fire Force that is responsible for the safekeeping of people and their properties. Our heroes are part of a Super Special Unit 8, who is tasked with doing an internal investigation of other Fire Force Units. The characters are where this story really shines. Everyone has a backstory and everyone is likable, except some of the bad guys, can't talk bout them too much as it's a spoiler. We have, A cute airhead Nun A buff cyclops gorilla, whose a maiden at heart. A dumb knight, who gets stronger the more delusion he gets. A badass Captian & his reliable Lieutenant And lastly, our MC, who is on a path to become a hero and show that no matter how bad the world gets, we must never lose hope. Come in for the cool action stay for the very loveable characters.  There is some weird sexual stuff going on with female characters, it doesn't happen too often but when it does, it leaves a nasty after taste in your mouth. Still Highly Recommend this.

Well, this manga was more strange and unpredictable for me than any other adjective and... in general, I did not expect such an ending at all 😐😂. I don't know if the ending was inappropriate and disappointing or very good!? Anyway, I'm glad I read this manga. Because I think it had interesting content and the art was beautiful and impressive and I had a great time with it. And somehow I could understand and guess why they don't easily announce the animeization of the rest of the seasons. 😂 In this manga, my feelings towards the characters changed drastically. And for me, Arthur was more of a main character than Shinra... although Shinra had his own role and presence as the main character... but... in terms of battles, strength and strong presence, it was definitely Arthur who was the main character. . But my favorite character will still be Benimaru😂😻. This man is different! fantastic!! Anyway, I enjoyed the manga and I'm looking forward to the anime!
