Fantasy Sister!

Living in a country where every teen is totally immersed in games, Eun-jeong Kang is the complete opposite. As someone who isn't really into games, she is often neglected by her friends. Due to how inconspicuous she has become, she is challenged by her brother to play a game, and that is how she, a fresh newbie, begins to experience various brand new feelings in the RPG world.

Came here for that 'watch a fictional character play a fictional game' feel and was not disappointed.  In a world where everyone plays games and it's more popular to play them than to not (was I born in the wrong world??) and cliques are formed around what type of game you like the main character isn't exactly with the times and just... never played them for some reason.  After being stood up on her birthday by her friends to go play their game, she comes home to a crappy 'party' thrown by a halfhearted brother who promptly gifts her a videogame for her birthday... and bullies her into playing a game like 'normal people.'  They make a bet actually, as she argues studying should be more important and all he's good at is gaming.  He bets that he'd be better at studying than she'd be at gaming, and she bets the opposite and takes him up on it. Slowly, she starts to have fun.  This is a really odd world, by the way, just saying.  It's funny how backwards it all is.  Between the predominately simple and chibi-like comic art style, multiple pop culture references mostly spanning anime and games, and overall slapstick tone, it's an average but enjoyable manhwa and I'd recommend it if you're looking for a laugh. There is some romance in it but it's not predominate and it's pretty easy to ignore if that's not your thing.  Mostly its just teens being cute and having crushes.   Some real positives that set this apart from the rest are: The realistic portrayal of a sibling relationship.  Being jerks to each other and all but still loving each other as siblings do.MC does not instantly become OP despite knowing nothing about gaming.  She actually suffers like noobs typically do.The characters all have actual personality.  They make you wonder what they're going to do next or how they'll react.
