Why do I keep reading these Erotic Fairy Tales when I haven't been impressed or even really entertained by any of them up to this point? Well, I guess you could say that I'm a completionist. I refuse to drop any series. Once I start reading a manga or a multi-work series like this, I might take month-long breaks while reading it, but I'll always aim to eventually finish it. But if you don't feel a compulsion for completion like I do, then I wouldn't bother reading this. Because yet again, this installment was pretty bland. The sex scenes aren't very well drawn or choreographed, making it only "erotic" in the most generous sense of the word. The primary characters include the dead-eyed Marie whose grandmother is the boss of a criminal enterprise, the herbivorous (in both senses of the word) wolf Kou, and later the wolf girl Suzu who wants to wolf men down. The two wolves are the last of their species and have healing licking powers as well as (unseen to us) the ability to shapeshift. Chapters one and two deal with a lecherous bounty hunter trying to catch both Marie and Kou. Chapters three, four, and five introduce the horny Suzu as well as a rival crime family (though the rivalry seems pretty shallow and un-dangerous). Chapter five ends with the phrase "To Be Continued," so I have to wonder if it will actually be continued or if it got cancelled or something. Kou is a usually passive naif who also fights at times when it's necessary. With the sex, there's a repeated emphasis on technique and the idea that if one is skilled enough then anyone would feel sexual pleasure from fem. But the truth is that if somebody is emotionally distressed, that can create a mental block making it impossible for fem to enjoy the "skilled" stimulation of feir molester. Also, with the consensual sex, Marie twice says something along the lines of "you don't have to ask permission for every little thing" when Kou asks fem if fe wants to have sex. This seems to be suggesting that it's better for men to be "carnivorous" and just plow ahead when they think the mood is right, rather then seek verbal consent. And the fact that it happened twice makes me think that this author really doesn't like the idea of communicative partners or doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that just because two people are into each other doesn't mean that they're always going to be on the same page and wanting the same things from any given raunch launch.
