I was genuinely enjoying the build-up of this manga (good characters, interesting setting). But then the budding couple started being really, really frustrating. Let me explain what's going on. Ryou feels uncomfortable with the idea of being anally penetrated by Yuusei because Yuusei has a big dick. Yuusei says they can "take it slow," but that implies that eventually Yuusei expects to be able to penetrate Ryou. And that's the problem: Yuusei shouldn't be expecting that. If Ryou doesn't want to have Yuusei's dick inside fem, then fe shouldn't have to have Yuusei's dick inside fem. Ever. There are many ways that two men can sexually enjoy each other's bodies which don't involve anal penetration. Healthy couples will talk to each other and perhaps experiment and find activities which they are both comfortable with and which they can both enjoy. Healthy couples won't pressure their partners into doing things which they're clearly uncomfortable with. And Ryou's efforts to suppress feir discomfort in order to try to fulfill Yuusei's desires just makes me cringe because it's so clearly a horribly unhealthy relationship dynamic--on the verge of being emotionally abusive--and yet the manga portrays it as a romantic thing, and that's what truly pisses me off. In summary, Yuusei's a big dick with a big dick and Ryou just takes it. [Reviewed at chapter 5]
