They are both really funny, have a lot of action/fighting scenes and are so well-written.

There is that one extremely strong character in the shadows that everyone knows about and his only disciple who is stikk learning (and hiding his strength).

The art is really different, but both are gorgeous!

I'm Destined to Greatness

In the real world, Taehyun Kim has a boring low-effort life, but as a virtual reality gamer, he lives for a harsh challenge. Taehyun wants to reach #1 as a blacksmith or, even better yet, unemployed. Unfortunately for him, his natural skills keep interfering, and this game likes him way too much! Seriously, how the hell did he end up as the god of luck?!

Both works are funny, you will laugh a lot when reading them!

SPOILER ALERT

Main characters are complete opposites - one is really sincere and soft and caring (he's even prepared to die just not to be a burden and don't want to recieve a treatment to protect the secret), and the other is sly fox who doesn't care about anyone, but himself (he would gladly leave everyone to die because he got what he wanted, but then went to save them because that would benefit him).

No spoilers anymore

The art is great in both works and it's really complex and well-written.

They are quite different, one is more concentrated on schemes and is darker and the other one is a bit lighter and funnier.

I think that you would love both depending on what you are in a mood to read - a dark and more scheme oriented (Your Throne) or a bit lighter, with a lot of fighting scenes and comedy (Eleceed).

They are both goregous also!

The art gives the story dimensions and makes it even better!

They both have a main character who gets powers and discovers that other people also have powers. In both people with powers are kept a secret from regular people. In both, the main character has a friend who is involved with a significant organization for people with powers. In both, the main character wants to become stronger to not be a liability and help keep the people they care about safe. In both, the main character is at least fairly noble, compared to other people with powers.

Interested in the rainbow edition of Eleceed? Were you hoping the woowoo (Jiwoo and Wooin) ship would actually sail? Give the 1st chapter of this BL pick a go!

Wonderful cinnamon roll MC (Jiwoo and Yiseon feel almost the same), action-packed story, magic-user setting, beautiful art, OP mentor dynamic and the same themes of growing and making friends.

If you've read Traces of the Sun and are looking for a story with the same feeling, Eleceed is wholeheartedly recommended. Bonus: the comedy in this is also fantastic!

Eleceeds feels like a modernized Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Reborn is an older manga but the comedy style is really similar. When reading both I could not help but laugh out loud. Both have weird premises that makes you want to side line them.  If you like one you will definetly like the other.

Eleceed has a mentor cat whereas Reborn's trainer is a mafia todler in a suit. Both MC's are somewhat timid, work to level up from weak to strong, and are well on their way to being OP.
