No setting developement, no character developement, but it does have plenty of tasteless fanservice. The art was pretty nice, backgrounds were very detailed, the characters were pretty. Ending was lackluster. About what you'd expect from the rest of the story. Characters were ... meh. They were pretty much the same from beggining to end. No one had a back story. The relationship between the leads didnt develope at all. Nothing that showed their personalities outside of "girl with gun" and "mysterious magical". They didn't have any moments that showed their friendship or anything (except that last scene when they smiled at eachother.. Idk if that counts though, I smile to strangers all the time) I was pretty apathetic to their fights because of this. If you want a story starring a gun-slingin baddie, read/watch Black Lagoon
