Misa, a high school student and model student who is also secretly a witch who uses brutal dark magic to fight for justice.
I would say this is a great reboot of the iconic Eko Eko Azarak manga. It follows the original's weirdness and horror while adding its own elements into it. This Manga also adds modern factors into it, I especially love how even other worldly beings begin using human technology for their own reasons. Our lovely Misa is the same as ever, put some curses, kill some people, then disappear in thin air. Art Manga art is beautifully drawn, love how J-Ta drew Misa with her captivating looks. It doesn't pull any punches when it comes to horror either, gore is always displayed gloriously and the eldritch monsters look terrifying as always. Also really like the little change in Misa's eyes when she is using her powers, cool tidbit. Do I have to read the original to enjoy the new one? TLDR: no. The original plot is completely separate from this one, so to those of you that want to read it but haven't read the OG, you can do so without missing any important parts. The original was very episodic in nature, meaning each chapter doesn't have a continuous plot line (apart from few chapters that form into a mini arc but that's it). The reboot is also the very same nature as well, but it has a concrete destination in mind.
