If you already like the characters, there's no reason not to read this. It's short and includes Sajou and Kusakabe within its pages. But it's also pretty uninteresting as a standalone story, so there's no need to go out of your way to read it. It's not that cute. I mean, it's not that un-cute either. It's just kinda meh. It shows the two of them separately buying pairs of matching rings for each other. Browsing through options, picking the best option, making the purchase. The salespeople make some assumptions, those assumptions are wrong, rings are bought anyway. I probably could've rated it a little bit higher (like maybe a 3 or 4 out of 10), but it honestly just felt like it was purely reliant on the main story for any of its enjoyability and I don't feel like that's ever a sign of a solid manga.
This is a continuation of Dokyuusei's special booklet extra. Hikaru and Rihito are on the search for a ring to propose to each other. They both wished something special for each other and are delighted to begin their relationship to the next level. The reasons behind the rings, as well as their viewpoints on their relationship, are both adorable. I felt all warm and cozy inside.
