The story immediately begins with Wendy getting cheated on, not a great start I must say. Her beloved was cheating with her step sister, so obviously she was infuriated. This lead her to being kicked out of the house since she was nothing more than a concubine's daughter. Oh yeah and also met a fairy who decided to give her powers because why not.  This new power allows her to grow any type of plant just by the touch of her finger, quite handy. After getting kicked out, she decides to open a Flower Shop.  Save to say the MC's and ML's personalities are exactly like a board. Theres nothing special about this story other than to drive her and the ML together.

I take issue with certain things the FL does, however I since characters are people too, I am willing to only take off a little bit for it. My problem is with how she treats her ex, and how she treats the crown prince. The ex, for reasons I will not spoil, had a 100% valid reason for what he did (shocking Ik). He was just as much of a victum as she was, however the FL seems to soley blame him for what happened. Put simply, he did what he did for the FL's own good, and when the FL finds this out she continues to act like he was simply doing it to be an asshole. I am not arguing that they should have ended up together, but it was absolutley wrong to simply dismiss the fact that he is a victum as well. He has emotions too and he can feel heartbroken as well, he walked into a trap basically. I am very frustrated by the reader's treatment of him, because if he would have been the ML they would have been yelling for the FL to forgive him already.  In terms of the crown prince, it isn't her way of treating HIM that I have a problem with, but the fact that she simply acted selfishly. The crown prince simply wanted her help to give the people in poverty a better future, and while it is her right to decline, it was still an a**hole move on her part, especially since in theory she should somewhat know what it is like to have nothing to live off of. Overall, the story is not bad, but not great either. This compined with the, while overlookable, flaws and injustice of how certain characters are treated.

I've read tons of historical manhwas and honestly this is one of the best I've ever read. I was wondering whether I should read this or not because of the bad reviews and I'm glad I decided to come up with my own conclusions. Definitely will read it again. If you want to know a little more before starting to read: Wendy (FL): a badass, she's super smart and beautiful. At first you might think that she's kinda heartless but she's super charismatic as the characters gain her trust as the chapters goes by (dw it doesn't take long). Rad (ML): the greenest flag on earth, he's super in love with Wendy and he would do anything for her. I really like Rad because he's so understanding and respectful towards Wendy but at the same time he goes after what he wants. Rad made my standards for men go UP! Romance: the pace is perfect, not too fast not too slow. It's super cute and they're in a healthy relationship. I wish it had different romantic scenes but it's not something that I thought it was a problem, I just find them so cute that I wanted more. Side characters: super charismatic! I loved all of them. OBS: Wendy treats her ex like shii at the beginning. I did pity him a lot because he genuinely loves her and he only cheated  to protect her BUT we couldn't expect her to just hug it out after 2 YEARS of hating him. Try to understand her side a little... In her head for 2 years she thought that he just loved her sister and it brings her trauma. I LOVE HER EX THO and I wish we had gotten to see him happy with someone elae.
