William Twining lives a charmed and privileged life. Desperate to find something left of value, he finds a secret room in the basement, accidentally summoning Dantalion, Grand Duke of the 36 Armies of Hell in the process! All William wants is to be left alone to his studies, but he’s now tasked with deciding who the next ruler of Hell will be, much to his annoyance. With Dantalion and other demons eager to influence his choice by whatever means necessary, what’s a nobleman to do?

My literally joy in pride. kinda wish there was little side stories at the end tho 🥲

I liked the initial pitch of the plot, the typical fight between demons and angel. The whole Solomon's soul was a great main plot since as readers we can discover the truth along with the mc. Unfortunately as I continued to read William Twinning made it hard for me to take in the story as a whole. The mc's intellect is one of my favorite parts but how can a man of science be so privy to the truth when it's right in front of him. Maybe if I continued to read more it could get better, but it's been unbearable with the mc and how the mc interacts with other characters.
