Time has passed since a comet struck Earth, causing catastrophic damage and decimating the population. After a giant earthquake destroyed the Kanto region of Japan, its citizens were left alone and lawless in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. One man known as the Slum King rose from the ashes and took power of the area, forcing any captured women to become sex slaves and ruling the remaining population with an iron fist. He's rivaled by only one man: Violence Jack, a giant who roams from place to place, protecting the innocent and shedding ample blood in the process. Mari is a young woman who is captured by the Slum King's minions on her way to find her missing boyfriend Ken; though as she's being 'trained' for her new life of servitude, Ken - who is now working for the Slum King - sees the situation and tries to free her. However, he fails, and thus finds himself forced to do the impossible: kill the Slum King's enemy - Violence Jack.

After a massive earthquake rocked the Kanto region of Japan, the landscape remains decimated and towns of survivors are few and far between. One settlement dubbed ‘Hope Town' has previously been kept safe from invaders and danger, but one day the infamous Hell's Wind biker gang rolls into town. Known for being brutal and merciless, they quickly lay waste to the buildings, capture all of the townspeople and get set to rape a woman named Keiko. However, at the last second a badly-scarred, battle-hardened Jun appears; Hell's Wind previously had captured her and her boyfriend, viciously murdered her love and raped and left her for dead. Now, Jun and an unlikely companion - the giant Violence Jack - will try to put a stop to Hell's Wind and rescue Keiko!

Tokyo: 1912. The imperial government begins to put in motion its plan to industrialize the capital so that it may take its place among the great cities of the modern world. The evil sorcerer Kato (who bears more than a passing resemblance to Street Fighter II's M Bison) would rather see Tokyo in ruins, and plans to resurrect the spirit of the warrior Taro Masakado to destroy the city. To do this he must possess the soul of a young girl with untapped supernatural powers, Yukari Tatsumiya. Various spiritual guardians try and fail to protect Yukari from his demonic powers, only for Kato's plan to be thwarted by the benign Masakado himself. Kato bides his time until he can use Yukari's daughter Yukiko to carry out the destruction on his own, but a new warrior appears to protect the Tatsumiya household: Keiko, an unassuming shrine maiden who wields the power of Heaven itself.

If a person is of pure of heart then he might be able to control the demon that posses him and thereby acquire power equal to a demon. After raising some hell in a club the plan works and Akira is possessed by the powerful demon known as Amon. Now Akira is humanities sole champion of justice against the hidden demon menace that has plagued humanity since the dawn of time.
