This is a sequel to the last manga. But it has extremly slow pace which is understandable, but it is still too slow. No real plot progression at this point it is just better to read thr LN.  But other than that, rest is good and it is enjoyable read

[Reviewed at Chapter 32] If you read the prequel, then you know what to expect, but unfortunately, this manga is let down by the slow pacing. 32 chapters in and the main story didn't really make much progress - there's been no new developments in the village (that we know of), no major villains defeated, and although the MC unlocks a few new skills, we don't get to see them in action yet. Much of the screentime is wasted on several character introductions, unnecessary posturing and dialogue. There's too much confusing politics. It would've been helpful if the author gave a bit of a blurb showing a map of all the countries and their political stances + associated heroes, because they keep introducing new kingdoms and characters every few chapters and it's hard to keep track. In particular, the "sacred holy light kingdom" vs "holy light empire" is confusing and you need to keep racking your brains to keep track of which kingdom they're referring to. It's a shame because I enjoyed the prequel and there's a lot of potential, but even after 32 chapters, the fact that there's very little progress being made is a bit disappointing. Also, considering that this manga has been out for nearly 3 years now, it means that I'll probably have to wait three more years so that I can binge it again, only to finish reading it within half a day. Painful.
