To avenge his older brother, an orphan named Jongli Chu killed Hwang Jung, a Heaven-slaying sect disciple. Jongli killed hwang in such a brilliant manner that he was taken in as a disciple of imitating blade killer of soul chambers. However, a huge mess called ten chastisements was waiting for him. Chastisement means that they will be chased by a sect until they are killed.  To escape the shadow of chastisement, he has no choice but to become a legendary Death God! This is one of those top tier murim manhwas. Main character is a kid but the way he took revenge for his brother was really brilliant. Story of this manhwa is well thought out. Pacing of the plot is the best and ut has one of the coolest chasing sequences in a manhwa. Side characters are written well and feel like a part of this world. Art is not top tier but it still gets the job done with a ton of satisfying action. Every single kill in this manhwa is done in a cooler way. I highly recommend giving this murim gem a try.  Note:- read on realmscans other sites have low quality images and translation.

Another masterpiece in the making MC who kills someone to avenge his brother gets taken in by an assassination organisation. Then on he travels the path to become the Death God. Art and characters are great. A good read Chapters read : 60 as on 22.11.2023

Story telling done right.  This is probably one of the best story driven manhwa that focuses on the martial world. From chapter 1 to 20, (so far) it had been a great ride. Chapters 1-20 could have been a movie on its own for how well the story lead up to. A lot of twists and turns and proper way for a chase scene to be entertaining as F*ck. If the next chapters would be as good as the first 20 chapters this manhwa would have a lot of potential to be one of my favorites. Just incase, i just wanna say that the first 20 chapters doesnt rely on heavy action as far as a martial arts manhwa is. What it provides is great story telling with action, give this some time to accumulate chapters as this manhwa is not as fast phased compare to the generic martial arts manwa out there, the benfit is that the story being so well crafted so please be patient with it. Overall 8.5 but this has a potential to be 9 so far.
