Hey short review here. The story is a 5 for having an okay premise but terrible execution with numerous plot devices for characters. The story has no problems throwing in useless bits of information that are likely meant to have the reader question where the thread leads to. However these threads will most likely end up being uninteresting, forgotten, or simply not live up to any of the hype it leads you on to believe. It also has a tendency to throw in a bunch of edge just because it can. It doesn't really add very much other than shock factor for the sake of it. The art is a subjective 6. It works fine but isn't anything to write home about I'd say. The characters are a 2. Several characters are linear in purpose. MC is there to be a bland self insert over powered friend mongering dude as the plot calls for. Everyone else is fodder dressed up in fancy clothes. Probably not a review people will appreciate, but this manga has very few redeeming qualities for me. I enjoyed some boob shots and that was about it. Fairly disappointed in an online acquaintances recommendation of a "good isekai" that is no surprise, just edge with fan fic boi protecting some nakamas and some looming mystery in the background... That you can't even care for because all of the characters are too ridiculous to believe with less than a single trait to define their personality most of the time.
Finally bought it at Barnes and Nobles last saturday! Read it for about a year now and didn't believe the reviews! It's fantastic and comedic in its own right. Definitely recommend, even for fans who seinen isn't their cup of tea, it's terrificOh yeah, warning, there is a scene, only two pages, mature, but other than that all's fine
Definetely a hidden gem. It is both interesting and exciting to read, plus the art is pretty awesome. If I were to say something was missing I'd saythere are not many amotional scenes, that gives you a sense of attachment to the characters. The story is pretty long, but it does not feel lacking while you read it. It also moves pretty slowly, but not slowly enough to bother you. Luckly there are no "filler" parts inside it. 👍 I would definetely give it a try, and if it does not fit your taste, you can just drop it.
