Shido Itsuka was born in a world where spacequakes, distortions of varying size that devastate everything in the vicinity, can happen anytime and anywhere. When his city’s alarm detects one impending, the high schooler races to where he promised to meet his sister Kotori in an attempt to rescue her. But upon his arrival, the spacequake transpires in that very spot, and standing in the middle of the destruction is a beautiful sword-wielding girl. After their brief encounter, he discovers from an unscathed Kotori that the mysterious girl is one of many Spirits who are the reason for the distortions, and seducing them will prevent spacequakes. Shido now has one week to learn how to woo a Spirit - will he be prepared when it’s time to do it for real?
The artwork is loose and curvy. Overall, it looks good. But I will say that several of the girls look a bit too similar (like, Origami and Reine). The characters are quirky and that leads to some pretty engaging interactions. That said, I'm not sure exactly how I feel about Kotori's personality switch. There is a mystery behind Shido's existence which isn't ever explained (because the manga was cancelled), and likewise the mystery behind how the spirits work isn't ever explained. The worldbuilding feels like it has some potential, but some major parts of it were left in an unexplained state (because the manga was cancelled). I think the manga was intending to develop into a dating-sim-in-real-life type of thing, which was done in a pretty comedic way.
