cant tell if its the translations or its just really bad. high key a self insert series, a "beautiful" girl wearing glasses to hide her "beautiful " eyes. concept in itself is straight from wattpad. i kinda liked the backstory, her first life per se, i just dislike the cliche very much. character design very mid, did the author even do character design? what's up with the cliche glasses? it's eh.

Spoilers up til chapter 5 No. It took the common villainess trope and made it worse. The story has backbreaking pacing and the FL is really freaking dense for no reason at all, like he literally kissed you, what do you mean you don't know how he feels about you? Also the ML has a huge personality change from his past life, he went from someone nice and kind to someone who's lowkey possessive, which, honestly ruined it for me. He does things behind the FL's back, without her consent, which, even though makes him a better person than the crown prince (a very low bar, by the way), because it was in a way for her (but also him, so surprising), doesn't really make him a good person. And honestly, the his past life outfit was too ridiculous looking to take seriously, his hat is lopsided and goofy, like, I don't really care if you smashed a wall with your bare hands if you are wearing a goofy trooper hat. The only good part of his fast life was when he offed the the annoying crown prince who an asshole.
