The main characters dynamic is basically the same, and even the looks are very similar. Both stories show a mature cute and sexy romance.
Uma delícia 😻 vcs vão gostar 😻Uke lindo+ Seme de farda = Tudo.
E vamos de viciar em outra obra, esse "Em breve!" me deixando super ansioso aah. ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ
The character dynamics are somewhat similar with a young, sweet uke, and an older strong, initially straight powerful man. The ukes even look alike. However, the relationship in On or Off starts bad but quickly becomes healthy, whereas the relationship in Dangerous Convenience Store becomes quite frustrating.
They both have similar characters by looks and behaviors and both have a wholesome, beautiful and cute relationship. Even the atmosphere of the stories like each other. If you read one of the and u liked it, u should definitely read the other one!

Both are Mafia-like and have gorgeous art. Though Park hanhoos manager doesn't have any smut, it's only suggestive. But God DAMN it's great.
Han Yisu’s proud of himself for winning over Kang Jihyung, the perfect partner. Not only is Jihyung incredibly rich and handsome, he’s also turned gay just for Yisu and Yisu alone. For Jihyung, Yisu’s willing to move in with Kang Jungman, Jihyung’s father and president of Cheonbong Corporations, and be the daughter-in-law that Jungman so seems to want. So just imagine his surprise when Jihyung suddenly brings home a woman and declares her his fiancee. And not just any woman, but Jungman’s mistress from his favorite bar. Enraged, Jungman chases his own son out of his home and vows to cut him off. Meanwhile Yisu, heartbroken and confused, wants to move out, but Jungman insists that Yisu needs to “take my son’s place.” Yisu’s always considered himself tough, but all this family drama is too much even for him… Just what is he to the house of Kang? Son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepson, or maybe…all of the above?

Hot damn both are Ahjuicies I swear! I love these mature hot type of semes and that's why I am recommending this series. If you enjoyed DCS and you need another Ahjucy figure I recommend you read riverside. Riverside Ahjuicy is more talkative( nagger) and funny at first, but both r hot enough to be called Ahjuicy.
“I missed you, Dad. Did you miss me too?” Gang member Ryu Nanmu may be one of the top dogs in his “organization,” but in life he’s hit rock bottom. He dreamed of building a family once, with his boss’ mistress and her son Pil-gyun, but he’s had to pay dearly for coveting something that could never be his. After several long years, the hope for a family had become barely anything more than a nostalgic memory for Nanmu...until a grown-up Pil-gyun dramatically reappears in Nanmu’s life. Except, this isn’t the child that Nanmu remembers. Pil-gyun is calculated, deadly, and obsessively in love with him. Although Nanmu knows he should put an end to this futile relationship, Pil-gyun’s tender words of love can’t help but tug at his heartstrings…

Hari’s normal. Sure, she can’t remember anything from when she was a child, but apart from that, she’s just a relatively unknown actress who dreams of making it big. All is well. That is, until she gets kidnapped. Luckily, Hari manages to emerge from that incident relatively unscathed, but… Why is the man who saved her following her around? What does a missing person’s case from twenty years ago have to do with anything? What secrets will be unearthed from Hari’s missing memories?

Both are great drama's that feature a normal MC that gets involved with a tough criminal with a surprising soft spot!
Geonu (ahjussi) is more cold and intimidating whereas Gale is more of an unhinged, grinning killer. These both create fun, comedic dynamics that are enjoyable follow.
Bonus: Guardians of the Lamb also has a deep mystery-thriller plot with complex characters and psychological elements!
Seo Jaewoo wakes up to find himself in the world of a BL novel. But he isn’t just any random person. He’s actually the lousy side top character who’s meant to torment the main bottom, Yoo Hyeonjin. What’s worse is that by the novel’s conclusion, all of Jaewoo’s despicable actions catch up to him, and he is killed by the story’s crazy main top and Hyeonjin’s love interest, Choi Mujin. In order to avoid his death, Jaewoo decides to change his original role and get on Hyeonjin’s good side. His method: lure him in with food, of course! While his tactic proves effective and he slowly befriends Hyeonjin, that doesn’t become the only major change to the plot. After an unexpected encounter with Mujin, Jaewoo’s position as the “lousy side top” gets completely flipped upside down…

Both of these are BL comedies that have a similar enjoyable atmosphere for when you want to read something funny and light-hearted.
"Dangerous Convenience Store" is a fun romance between a gangster and a corner shop worker :)
"I Became the Lousy Top" is a parody of "I became the villain" isekais, and it also pokes fun at BL tropes (including belligerent gangster tops lol) while providing a lovely story!
It's easy to get laid when you're a pretty, sassy bartender working at a popular gay bar. This lifestyle suits Jihyun just fine since he loves casual hookups without any intimacy… That is until he meets Yohan—his big, scary-looking classmate who's actually a pure-hearted sweetie. Can Yohan's simple love help commitment-phobic Jihyun heal from the traumas of his past?

Gangster - Gangster
Normal person - normal person
Soft love story,
gangster back story
DCS has more sex than story whilst LSP has more story than sex. Also LSP has more communication, a LOT of cumminication, sorry communication, while DCS has a lot less.
LSP cummunication, DCS cumminication.
Also LSP gansters are much nicer to their partners, DCS Ajusshi, not so much.

The themes are similar, yakuza meets non-yakuza and falls in love, but A thousand cranes includes mental health disorders and explores the relationship of the main characters more than it shows them having sex, the tone is a lot darker and dangerous, whilst The dangerous convenience store is a lot lighter in drawing and tone, is coloured, includes a lot of sex and doesn't have a lot of story between the main characters. You don't see more of their relationship until the side stories. Bothe yakuza's a kind to their partners when they're in love, but met under different circumstances.
Chinatsu, a hitman, meets his destiny again. His name is Kasumi. He was the boy who reached out to Chinatsu when he lost his brother in front of his eyes. A few years later, Chinatsu rescues Kasumi from a snatcher by chance. Kasumi is blind, and Chinatsu can’t leave him alone in the street… although he knows he shouldn’t get close to him, the distance between them gets shorter day by day… A story of redemption, in which two young men trapped in darkness slowly soothe each other’s loneliness.

They both include yakuza's falling in love with a normal person and trying their hardest to protect and love them, Touch of the abyss is a lot more sombre and Dangerous convenience store is a lot lighter in tone of expression.
