Don't get me wrong, the plot is vaguely interesting throughout the first half of the series and the characters are likable! But this all gets thrown straight out the window by the time you're done.  MAJOR FLAWS:  The series got axed. I do not blame the author for this, but the treatment of the series because of this only worsened.  There is essentially no satisfying ending. The conflict gets resolved (How? We're never told.) and things go back to normal and it stops. Kind of... (Light Spoilers:) Speaking of things going back to normal, it doesn't completely happen because the (formerly male) mc... gets pregnant? With whatever digital baby? ...What?  The important relationships between characters never get fleshed out in a meaningful way even if it was off to a good start. The author has a habit of unnecessarily introducing characters with little to no relevance to the story, sometimes ONLY as plot devices to stick around for maybe 2 chapters at most to unlock some new ability.  Sometimes these characters stick around as recurring, but stay pretty purposeless the whole time. Like: loli fanservice (?), jealous onlookers, etc. They have no need to be there. Why are they there. Plot holes galore because of the cancellation. Major issues of the main characters never get resolved- or I mean they do, we're just not told or shown how or when. Minor Issues: I know this is a genderbender manga but please for the love of god some of the lewd scenes just didn't need to happen. (TW: harassment/almost rape?) Positives(Maybe?): I like the character designs.  Characters have decent personalities, it's just criminally underdeveloped. The art is okay, not particularly stunning but I've seen worse. It takes isekai on a different than usual spin, which is a welcome to the world. It starts off with something very akin to SAO, but instead of getting trapped in the video game world, they get trapped in the video game in the real world. One of the few redeeming qualities?
