This story is pretty great, in my opinion (especially for an isekai). It has a nice cast of interesting characters, there's steady story progression, and some decent worldbuilding. If you like isekai adventure stories, I think this is something worth reading. Our lonely protagonist Usato ends up making friends randomly on a bad rainy day home from school with the council president and vice president...and accidentally gets summoned to another world with them. However, unlike his new friends Kazuki and Inumaki - he wasn't a hero they even tried to summon. (Yes, he was an accident lol) But, he's got the very rare magic in this new world: healing magic. And then from there, he ends up on a journey of his own to get stronger and explore more of the world. Honestly, this was pretty dang interesting. Rose stood out to me a lot as a character for an isekai series, like that one stereotype of a gruff, rough teacher, but a still caring and with good intentions underneath. I love seeing her and Usato's bickering since it's pretty entertaining and really shows their relationship well with each other. Especially knowing that her rough training is her way of showing she cares. (Although I still find it hiliarious that regardless Usato likes to jab and make quiet sneaky remarks at her anyway) But just as the title suggests, that was definitely the wrong way to use healing magic! Instead of being a supporter/side character of a party of warriors or heroes to do the fighting like almost every isekai out there - he's put through absolutely brutal training from one of the strongest people in their kingdom, Rose, because he can just heal himself and continue! That part of it was hilarious most definitely, since it took a different turn that from other isekai stories. But although they're the main reason Usato got summoned and are now his friends - Kazuki and Inumaki don't stand out as much as Rose, Usato, and the rest of the rescue team. I get that they're side characters, but they really are forgettable throughout the story. They're pretty cliche for the genre, but seeing as they are the "summoned heroes from another world" I shouldn't be surprised. With each new volume, it delves a little bit more into the world that Usato, Kazuki, and Inumaki and have been summoned to, as well as see their development. I like to see Usato and the two grow stronger, as well as the relationship of all the kingdoms and different cultures that exist. Anyways all that is a bamble to read I'm sure, but if you just skipped to the end or read it all the way through, this is a nice isekai to read. It's the pretty standard format for this genre, but it spins the idea around in a new way that makes the story enjoyable. I'm looking forward to reading future volumes when they are officially published in English.
