Well, I hope the rec is obvious.  Both Chaosic and Yu-Gi-Oh! are card games where epic monsters are born to fight.  If you want a Yu-Gi-Oh! that actually has 1000X the more blood, Choasic is the way to go.  It is really gory.  The card bearer actually puts his life on the line, he is one with the card.  Both mangas are creative and have nicely paced story.  If you haven't witnessed enough monsters, then read the other.

Thrawn Thrawn says...

Card games are all the rage, with them monster pictures and dueling against quirky foes, it's pretty hip. But Chaosic Rune ups the ante with a high violence and blood quota and while it's monster's are physical, Yu-Gi-Oh! has holographic monsters to give it more umph than just being cards. Both card games contain more than just monsters, with Chaosic Runes' item cards and Yu-Gi-Oh!'s trap, magic and even equippable cards. In the end if you want some good card games, check out either but once again, Chaosic Rune isn't for the squeamish, content-wise.

Aphorism

Can you see the island in the sky...? Most people think it's just a metaphor or some weird hoax, but for those rare students actually capable of spotting the island floating in the sky, they are afforded the opportunity to enroll in Naraka High School. Graduation promises a cushy government job and a life of wealth and prosperity. It almost sounds too good to be true. Momiji Rokudou is a first-year who spotted the island and enrolled with dreams of the dazzling life that awaited him, but those dream quickly turn to nightmares when he learns the truth of the old adage, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Naraka High School offers a unique education, to be sure. The campus is a killing field floating above the earth, and the only requirement for graduation is survival! Best of luck in your studies, Momiji...

Both involve a group of people who get involved in something way more dark than they imagined - though in Chaosic Rune, that period only lasts for awhile and then shifts to something different. Both are super gory and page turners.

Thrawn Thrawn says...

Take youngsters, add 30 gallons of blood, a scoop of magical powers, a bucketful of monsters and something that'll mess with their heads most heinously. Stir and bake with thrills and spice it up with action. Let it cool with intrigue and life-or-death situations and serve.

This is an odd one but hear me out. Card games for Chaosic Rune and mahjong for Mudazumo, both series amp them up to 11 and turn them into ludicrously badass manly affairs that make them flex and shine. Large hams abound, just about everybody is hot-blooded and for Chaosic Rune's case, packed with blood, gore and violence. Mudazumo has it to a lesser extent (Minus the gore) but also resorts to shrewd tactics and some truly awesome political and military figures participating in badass mahjong. Chaosic Rune makes due with dinosaurs and shotguns.

A mundane game (Card games for Chaosic Rune and various children's games for Kamisama no Iutoori) are made awesome by making them life-or-death without neglecting the gore and blood. Neither series shirks in the blood factor but between the two, Chaosic Rune is by far the more gorier of the two as people are torn apart and the innards are seen in their grisly gory. High body counts and carnage lies within, both do the concept of high stakes games justice and are fast-paced thrill rides bound to keep you turning the page to see who would be feeding the worms next.

Card games for Chaosic Rune and assorted children's games for Kamisama, turned into violent bloodbaths of anti-humanity, sacrifice, blood, corpses, dead youngsters and more blood, because when you're going for amped up children's games, you turn it bloody and intense. Suspenseful and packed with thrills and hot-blooded action (More so for Chaosic Rune), both take a mundane thing and twist them around into something fast-paced and fun with blood by the bucket loads. Their games may be different but the style and substance will attract fans of either work.

Really, they are bloody.
