Cat Street is something really fascinating. As for me, I was caught from the very first chapter.

This manga seems to be an ordinary shoujo manga with cute art and usual characters. But then I realized that I cannot find any manga, similar to Cat Street. Sure, a lot of manga tell us a story about a girl in the cruel world of show-biz. But in Cat Street this theme is not the main – It loses to the theme of relationships between people. It’s about life – and as life is such an unpredictable thing so manga is the same.

Art’s amazing. All the faces are cute – It doesn’t matter If it is main character or not. They all are well-painted and they all are different from each other.

Cat Street has very interesting characters. You can understand them only by reading the whole manga, closely from chapter to chapter – ‘cause the second opinion can differ from the first (as It happened to me).

Life worths living for – you can completely understand it through the reading of ‘Cat Street’.

This manga appears to be your average shoujo manga, but if that's what's stopping you from reading it, have no fear: it goes above and beyond any expectations you may have. It is not entirely accurate to even call it shoujo, because it's not the romantic story we've come to expect from the genre. Instead, it's gritty, painful, and heartbreakingly real. It is everything you could want in a healing story, and if you've not cried even once throughout the story, you're missing the point. In the end, the characters seem real, the romance natural, and the friendships deep enough to make you want to cry. 

Sure, it's a story about show-business and the troubles that come with it, but what it really is is a transformation from the old to the new, breaking in and breaking out of our shells, trying to make something out of the tatters of an old life. This is the story of a a lifetime: do not hesitate to read and formulate your own opinion!
