A interesting, short psychological series about a supernatural detective solving mysterious supernatural deaths...this manga was something I enjoyed!

As a lover of supernatural and horror/thrillers, this definitely hit the spot for my craving of this genre.

Can't Stop Cursing You is a manga about a teacher named Saeyama, a "curse-breaker", who goes around stopping those who are, per se - "curse contractors", who kill using their borrowed supernatural abilities.

This manga is an interesting game of cat and mouse in a competition of thrills, death, and mystery between Saeyama and his assistant Yamazaki, against a group of curse contractors who go around killing others.

The art isn't too outstanding or some masterpiece, but it's definitely above average and pleasing to my eyes. (Especially Saeyama, lol)

Their story, characters and art are enough to keep me entertained, and I did enjoy this and do recommend it.

(Review as of Ch. 9)

This story is a great psychological thriller and also has a bit of comedy. The first chapter draws you in and after reading the first few chapters, I was hooked. It is about Kiyoharu Saeyama, a ‘curse breaker’ that finds killers that use curses, that are usually untraceable, to kill. The story follows Saeyama from case to case and these cases help build up a more complicated world and develop the characters further.

The MC, Kiyoharu Saeyama, is my favorite kind of character. He is borderline crazy, unfazed by almost everything, and always is a step ahead of everyone else. He makes jokes about dead bodies and just makes everyone around him uncomfortable, which is hilarious to read. He also takes in a high school boy named Kanta and I love the dynamic between them. The villains are also well written. Their reasoning behind the murders is complaicted and none of them are evil simply to be evil.

As of Ch. 9 there is still a lot of intrigue and questions about the characters and the world that are left unanswered. The foundation of a complicated and full world is there and I can tell that there is much more to the story.

I Love the art. The line art is clean and the panels are easy to follow. There is quite a bit of gore and it is really well done too.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys psychological warfare, dark comedy, and a bit of fantasy too.
