Canine Tooth - Reviews

Synopsis: Canine Tooth is an adult manhwa about a Christian girl named Lee-Ah who lives and sacrifices her future to ensure that her non-blood sister Lee-Ji, goes to college. Her sister, while working at a nightclub one night gets gang-graped/assaulted by a top young business executive and his friends. In anger, Lee-ji lashes out at the man the next time she sees him, but is then unfortunately kidnapped and forced to work the voyeur stage of his secret sex mansion. In despair, her sister Lee-Ah ventures out in search of her missing sister, and encounters a supernatural world, from which she can never return the same. Will she save her sister, find out on the next episode of DBZ (jk). 

Review: Wow, at the beginning, I thought this manhwa was nearly as dark as Amu. The scene in the first chapter took me by surprise. Plus the artstyle and coloring is pretty similar to Amu.  Several chapters in however, I can definitely conclude that this is a lot darker than Amu. I did not expect to see the level of gore shown. It genuinely shocked me. Coming into this manhwa, I had absolutely no idea that things would be going this left. So please don’t think I choose dark manhwa’s on purpose 😭. I just glance at the covers and put them in my “to read” list. Anyway, there isn’t much in terms of the sex scene. There is assault happening in almost all of them, making them not an enjoyable thing to look at. Me personally, I stuck around for the story. Would I recommend you read this? Not for the faint of heart.
