This is a story about romance in the middle of political intrigue. The romance aspect is fine. Evelyn is confident and matter of fact about feir interest in Karl, while Karl is demure and blushes at feir slightest provocation. The political intrigue aspect is not nearly as good. We're thrown into the middle of the plot and we're slowly piecing together the overarching narrative, the various factions and loyalties and stuff. This technique itself isn't bad, the problem is that once we reach the final chapter and the entire timeline is reconstructed and all events are made clear, it's obvious how ridiculous this entire set-up is. Like, why would the nobles have crowned Mikhael emperor? What possible purpose was there in doing that? Were they just waiting for fem to reveal feir true nature? What if fe never turned feir bow against Karl? Would they have just left fem on the throne forever? It's implied that there was some sort of behind-the-scenes investigation going on, but the results of that investigation don't even seem relevant. And more importantly, an investigation could've occurred (probably even more easily) without having to crown fem emperor! It's a stupid plan that makes no practical sense and makes all of the intrigue and scheming that's built upon it pointless and idiotic.

I read this because of how short it was. This manwha would've had SO MUCH potential if it was at least 30-40 chapters. The author actually had a great story, but 7 chapters were nowhere near enough to successfully deliver it. The world's setting and the characters were barely, if at all, introduced or explained. It was incredibly difficult to understand what was going on and everything was rushed. Overall, it was very unsatisfactory.

I feel like if this story took its time to build the world and the story better then it would have a better result than this but alas plot is predictable and some characters decisions don't make sense like they knew the second prince was already guilty so why wait all that long to catch him? Author should have focused in issues like this.  There is no suspense,no character development, no good twist unfolding properly nor slow romance just a blushing ML and a teasing dragon lady, I couldn't even find it cute sense i wasn't interested in it. As for the art it was pretty and colouring is nice, my only issue is that characters look either they are in their adolescence or like children so I am not sure at what age are they supposed to be. I think it's because of their shortness or maybe their faces not sharp as adults..don't know but that bothered me. It's not the worst but could have been made better if given more thought and chapters to it. Overall read it if you want to kill some time but believe me when i tell you, you aren't missing much if you didn't.
