In both, the girl cross dresses as a guy. The romance is adorable. The only difference would be the Buddy Go!'s illustration is cuter.

Both are really good manga and are about girls who cross-dress to join showbiz and become idols.

Also, in both mangas, there is a male protagonist(duh) who they shouldn't get too close to, but they both do.

Oh, but for Buddy go, her secret is reveled a lot earlier in the manga.

Both highly recommended!

Both mangas are about the show business, with a female lead that needs to crossdress and lives with the male lead. I like both personalities of the females leads, they are both focused on their goals, and the stories are completely love focused, which gave the characters more personality.

Both manga are romantic comedies involving girls in showbiz The girl from Buddy Go! is in showbiz to better her dance skills and defeat her rival. The girl from Skip Beat starts showbiz out of revenge. They both don't like the male lead at first. Though Skip Beat has a more serious tone, it's still similar to Buddy Go! The humor is great in both as well.

buddy go! and oresama teacher work really well together with a lot of humor, anxiety related to identity, (with both of the main characters concealing their gender for the sake of their ambitions & friendship) & perserverance! while oresama teacher doesn’t have as much main character-centered romance, and buddy go! doesn’t have as much mystery, both have you looking eagerly anticipating the next chapters with character development and inspiring moments! moreover, both have are filled with moments that make you want to hug your pillow and scream at how cute they are!! definitely reccommend one if you liked the other!
