it's nice how he does what he does it's like tit for tat kind of thing the he gives exactly what the culprit deserves including his little own way doing good deeds.. overall till now it's good..

This manga is more of a toned down version of red cage. It starts off pretty good but later on the cases become too much dim. The villains are just bad guys for the sake of being bad guys. They have little to none personality to them and their motives behind the brutalities become more and more vague. The personality of the main character is a little bit better. The art is just average good for this type of plot. This manga is also very overrated in my opinion.

I friking love this so far. The way he commemorates the kills in how they hurt their victims. So good, the gore is also sick as f.

The story Brutal follows our protagonist Hiroki Dan, a detective with a secert identity as a serial killer who murders criminals. The premise for brutal is a very interesting concept however the story isn’t handled well at all and is honestly just wasted potential. The story is more or less the same thing over and over again. All it is, is Dan kidnapping criminals and torturing them although the author changes up the means of torture and adds some other sort of comedic relief it still seems repetitive.

You’d most likely think at some point Dan would be caught or even investigated but surprisingly no. Without any risk there is no tension which is one of the stories biggest flaws. Dan being investigated would’ve brought a very good and interesting story arc into play but the author just completely disregards the idea.

One of the other major problems I have with the story is the main character himself. I dont know anything about this character besides the fact he kills criminals. Despite everything that Dan has done his mental state is rarely delved into. If it were to be handled rightfully it couldve added character to him or something more to the story.

overall Brutal feels like a complete waste of a good concept. It lacks in having any actual story
