Unlike the other reviewer who only read 1/10th of the series(21/201 chapters). My review is based on the entire series(2nd Season-New Waves). Spoilers from here on.

~SPOILERS~

Shi-oon is now a clan head. Then he eventually gets his Ki center restored and is stronger than ever. Fights S.U.C. which is like minions under the Nine Arts Dragon(NAD), fights some of the lieutenants, fights a sub-boss then his master. A bunch of masters die. Then the next cliff hanger which won't be resolved till 2017 at the earliest Shi-ho wakes up.

This will be my review for The Breaker: New Waves only. This includes spoiler for the part 1 and part 2 of the series.

The first part of the New Waves might be a little bit boring since the protagonist lose his ability to do martial arts (we're going to see how weak he is against powerful opponents) but after 70+ chapters, we will see the protagonist to be badass again using his martial arts. The long wait will be WORTH IT. Since I saw some readers who dropped this manhwa because of that.

I got so excited and thrilled after 100 chapters because of it's awesomeness. The art won't let you down. It doesn't matter if it's colored or not since it will be still worth it.

Still waiting for the s3 though since I love and enjoyed this manhwa.

A unique murim/martial arts manhwa as it is set in the modern world. New Waves isnt the end of the story. The creators are yet to release a sequel.

If you are looking for a action manhwa with likeable characters and a touch of emotions mixed with it, then go for it.

What i liked:

The art: Absolutely superb... The fight sequences are drawn soo well that it gave me goosebumps more often than not(especially the ones with MC)... Wud hav been a 10 if not for a few panels being too dark that it becomes hard to make out whats happening.

A realistic fantasy: The modern aspects make it very realistic... A person can die if shot... But at the same time usage of martial arts to fight and how its depicted is very imaginative and creative... This is what we want...a logical premise with a creative plot taking the foreground.

The characters: Whether the MC is likeable or not is debatable...atleast at the start...But he definitely makes you wanna root for him...as the story progresses he becomes more firm and kinda badass unlike a wuss he was at the start. The side characters are more likeable ig...No crigey vibes...no back stabbing...and the loyalty dat some of the characters show towards the MC is amazing to watch(some tears to spill).

What is disliked:

Pacing:The pacing is absolutely HORRENDOUS...The MC grew in terms of skill towards the end of part 1 only to make 360 in New Waves... I understand that not having powers puts emphasis on the type of person the MC is...but still...it took him 120 chapters to regain his powers... There wer temperory displays of his powers around chapter 40 and 60 but still nthng solid. The 200 chapters worth of content cud hav been completed in a 100. Not to mention the arcs that were of no use to either the plot or the MC... They were enjoyable ig...But we cud hav seen so much more of the story on 200 chapters.

This part has very little story progression from part 1...The main emphasis of this part was the character development of Shi Woon and breaking his obsession of his teacher Chun Woo...

SPOILER:People say that Chun Woo became evil after Shi Ho s death...it maybe true to a small extent but ultimately Chun Woo was always evil( he has a good side too )...we just didnt know anything about him or his work in part1.

Its a decent read if have the patience for it... Be sure to read it wen u r in d mood for a long one or u ll just end up dropping it
