You know, it's pretty weird how lately I only come upon manga like this one, it starts off nice, seems like it might be interesting but halfway through it everything just goes down the shitter.Break Hands is no exception to my current predicament, everything was fine, it really did seem like it had potential and even though it wouldn't have been a great manga it could have been ok, nothing spectacular or amazingly original but a nice read to enjoy when waiting for my favorite mangas to get new chapters, however it all went to hell in the second half of the manga since it apparently was rushed, probably was going to be canceled and the author thought he might as well give it an ending. Most of you by now probably think the ending is the problem and it isn't really, it is kinda odd but it is and ok ending, the conclusion is kinda disappointing and the fact that the main character just gets a plot item out of his ass at the end is horrible and very badly handled, this thing has only been mentioned once before in the entire manga and there was no hint that the main character had it or that it even existed at that point in the manga to begin with. The biggest problem however is how a lot of things are skipped, the entire progression to the end is rushed and badly paced and even the fights seem superficial and rushed, it basically just fell apart. The art style is good enough, nothing spectacular, just your average manga nowadays, and in general really I don't like to talk a lot about the art style, if you've read any of my other reviews you probably already noticed and the reason for that is that I don't care much for the art style as long as it's not really bad and/or has something that I dislike, as long as it's decent then I won't mind it much, also depends on the genre a bit I guess since some depend on the art more then others ..As a conclusion, I wouldn't recommend it, it isn't horrible and you can probably do worse but it's mediocre at best, and that is in the first part of it, however it is short so I guess it wouldn't be that much of a lose to read it and who knows .. maybe some of you will actually like it.
