First things first, the damn synopsis on this site needs to be changed because it doesn't accurately reflect the manga. If you came here expecting boxing, I suggest you leave because there is no boxing to be found. The most you'll get is a literal shit street fight and a few lackluster beatdowns that last no more than 5 chapters in total. That's it. But what about the other 111 chapters, you ask? Well, it's mainly focused on school love drama but with adults. After reading "I Am Hero," I noticed a trend. The author tends to use something weird as the background for his stories, making you think it's about that when it's actually not, just like in "I Am Hero" where it stops being about zombies after a while. However, "I Am Hero" does a better job of pretending to be about zombies, whereas this manga makes a half-assed attempt at pretending to be about boxing. And let's not even get into the ending. But you'll see it for yourself if you don't heed my warning... I told you so.The art is fine and the author seems to have put effort into it, unlike his later series which feels half-assed. The characters are intentionally unlikable (atleast that is what I prefer to think, but I have my doubts...), and in that regard, the author did a nice job because you certainly won't like anyone. All in all, I don't recommend this manga. However, if you enjoyed the author's other works, you might find some enjoyment in this one too. Just be warned that despite what the site claims, there is no sports, boxing, or hand-to-hand combat. The site got it right with drama, though, as there's plenty of it.
