This is pretty alright. It's an ecchi comedy, with the comedy stemming from the overpowered antics of Ryuuji's mother. Feir first instinct is to destroy entire landscapes if even a single monster threatens Ryuuji, but fe tries to hold back as much as fe can so that Ryuuji doesn't grow to despise fem. We slowly see Ryuuji get a little bit better by femself as well. Ryuuji gains a few friends and party members over time, with the first one being the rabbit-eared girl Sheila. For the girls, we also have the elf guild leader Chiquita, feir two subordinates, and a girl in Ryuuji's class named Imalga. The story is sorta harem-like, with the two girls Ryuuji's age showing interest in fem and the two older women embracing fem against their bosoms. There are two chapters that involve hot springs, though the etiquette of wearing "hot underwear" is just discarded entirely during the second visit. I guess it's just too hard to maintain continuity for a manga as lengthy as this one. There's an Insect King, that may be the main antagonist of the series, currently doing some minor things behind the scenes. And the origins of Ryuuji, and the sword that was with fem as a baby, are probably going to be shown to have significance at some point.
