Boss in School - Reviews

Well i'm gonna tell you what i though of this series. I'm writting this minutes after reading the last chapter so that i have all the story quite fresh.

At first this is something like a badass mc who's very good at fighting. The first season (until chapter 61) it's about him fighting in school, he get's related with a mafia group so the classic schoolgang fight scalates a little bit but nothing more than that.

The second season... let's say it's about finding the killer of his father and involves a "martial arts" tournament, of course there is a lot of fights and action but suddenly everything goes bloody, really bloody and to me it became bullshit.

To illustrate, this is like a porn movie... it has a plot that of course is not even relevant, you watch it for the "action" and don't care about anything else. But instead of that this about fighting, being mad and baddass and keep fighting. So if you like the fighting thing and an MC who got titanium balls i think that you'll like it. But don't expect much sense in the long run, the only growth here is about fighting skills, so no one matures.

To make more sense i'm gonna make a little spoiler. The MC is the son of the CEO of Sunshine group (aka mafia) and his mother is like a broken op succesor of old martial arts and the whole plot is about his dead father whom he never met.

So he inherit the group, he got good at fighting, all of it for the purpose of finding the killer of his father.

who is an chinese old man, of course ultra broken op. the problem with this is that this shitty old man is fucking crazy and start killing everything in sight.

So what's the problem, he make an illicit tournament in japan to gather good fighters (included his dad killer), even his mother is in the tournament, all for the sake to kill the old man, wich is so op that there is no way the MC can even fight him but plot armor ofc.

The conclussion, he broke a lot of laws, the illicit tournament, with gambles ofc. The whole mafia thing, he enter Japan illegaly and kill the old guy. ALL OF IT FOR REVENGE ofc it's not that i dont get it, but for a father he never knew. His mom is caught in prison. In the trial of the MC he tells he killed the old man so his mother is liberated aaaaand he got 7 years in prison. NICE.

The thing is that the mc looks like a human but behave like a fucking fighting machine so human common sense... there is a big lack of it.

(MUST READ!!!!!!) The only reason i gave the story 2 stars is because season 1 was really good but after i started reading season 2 all the new characters were pathetic and old characters werent acting like how they were before and some were even betraying when they would not have even dared in season 1. All of the hard work was for nothing and the MCs mothers DISCIPLE came in the show and started beating up everyone that was in season 1 like they were bugs which disrespected so hard. Imagine your favourite characters working so hard then some little kid comes and wipes the floor with them like its nothing. The arrogance as well, its just insane. They changed the MC so much hes just some delinquent side character even though he was never like that in season 1. Im left speechless, i wasted so much time and dropped it on chapter 91 since i couldn't take it any longer. They just keep adding pathetic characters and making the OG characters shit their pants. The mother is pathetic too, imagine wanting your son to go to prison just because your DISCIPLE can get the spotlight. THE MOTHER EVEN SAID YOU CANT BEAT MY DISCIPLE WHEN THE OG MC IS TRYING TO GET REVENGE FOR HIS FATHERS DEATH WTFFFFFFTFFTDF WHAT KIND OF DISRESPECT IS THAT SOME PATHETIC MOTHER. Avrage story nothing unique nothing new i didnt care what happens next becose powerlevel was broken since start. All fights i was kinda hyped about were cutted and there only start and end. But i have to addmit there were some realy funny jokes in there that kept me reading this (jokes made me give it score 6 not 5 i just felt like 5 is low).

Art men looked all like they were working out 24/7  and have 0 fat on them doesnt matter what are their jobs, females are done like hay we should put some chicks in there , but how do we draw them idk bigger chest longer hair ok lets go...(they dont have massive tits but they dont look unique they all feel same there are even 2 girls that look nearly identical).

Characters are done poorly MC is same doesnt use brain doesnt know how to figth but wins everything without problem. Characters who going to fight him are introduced like total top masters in fighting that were traing for dacades but mc wrecks them without any struggel. Main villan is entroduced to us wery late in story so i was like ok end him and im done with this.

This manwha is great, badass MC,

but all went fucking downhill when season 2 came out,

it's absolutely shit.

You don't know who the fuck is the MC,

either the bald disciple who lived in the mountains all the entirety of his life,

or Seth, overall, season 1 is good, season 2 is fucking shit.

How can i say this... I love season 1 but season 2 sucks af T-T

It worth to read till ch61. It's about school fighting, mafia/gangster fighting and such... In this manhwa, it's all about the action not the plot.
