BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense. (Light Novel) - Reviews

Got this because I loved the anime and usually the books are better than film but not in this case.  The anime's brillant colors and action scenes put more life into the story.  The light novel is very bad at describing the new power up's and the fight scenes usually just a paragraph and there is no real character development just moving from one challenge to the next.  If you read the book and it put you off on the anime.  I would tell you the anime is 10 times better than the Novel and give it a try.
