One day, your typical Japanese high school student, Naoto Kurogane has a very bad day and meets a mysterious blonde-haired, golden eyed girl in a black mantle. Despite having trouble dealing with crowds, he attempts to maintain his pedestrian life, despite separating from his family, the Terumi Clan, going on to stay with his maternal aunt and cousin, Haruka, taking his mother's last name Kurogane.
