"When I woke up one day... I was married to a middle-aged man I didn't know!" Haruhi works as a heavy machinery operator at a construction site full of men. One night, she met a white-haired, middle-aged man at a pub, and they drunkenly decided to fill in marriage papers and submit them to the city hall! She then took him home with her, but she shouldn't let his white hair fool her... He's not too old for love yet! How will this dangerous co-living situation between a construction worker and a handsome middle-aged man turn out?
The romance is a bit rushed at the beginning but the story itself is sweet and quite memorable. There aren't a lot of clichés and the characters are on the mature side, not leaving much room for misunderstandings that would typically drag on for many chapters. I definitely recommend this manga!
I'd like to point out that, despite the fact that our female protagonist, Haruhi, is a clown for drunkenly pushing a man to marry her simply because she doesn't want to return to run her father's company, she chose a very fascinating sliver fox. Basically mr sliver fox himself, Sunohara is a calligrapher and is 10 years older than her (she’s 22 basically). She on the other hand, is a machine operator working in the construction sector. I liked the fact both the characters occupations are uniquely different cause I hardly ever see those jobs roles being mentioned in manga! I also liked how simplistic and lovely it is for both the characters to get to know one another. That’s regardless if they married at first sight like yeah, it’s a odd way to sign marriage papers at a pub but hey, anything can happen anywhere I guess! Also I hated that guy that fancied Haruhi, read to find out why.... If you want a cute story to check out, this one is definitely one for you all to see!
