A new release by Lezhin. The main character is a cute but nerdy guy who obsesses over a broadcast jockey (hence BJ, get your minds out of the gutter) Alex. He even gets a part time job to send Alex money in the hopes of getting noticed. Eventually he meets his idol only to find he's actually a jerk. But since this is BL, you can guarantee their relationship will get very interesting.

In addition to the interesting/kinky story, the artwork is beautiful.

The art, as it’s seen, it’s great, a different style and a great design, from the characters body and clothing, to the sceneries.

The storyline seemed to have no way to go at the beginning, the autor tried to explain the characters’ behaviour with backgrounds of their past, but I think all of it could have been more detailed and the explanation more expanded.

However, the “love” plot was followed and the dramas were never missed...

It was a bit uneasy to follow, but the author knew how to make the readers feel happy with the ending.

If you’re looking for some good sex explicit content with great drawing, here you have.

An ongoing Lezhin manhwa about a university student who's obsessed with a Broadcast Jockey (not the other BJ) named Alex, only to discover his idol is none other than a student in his same field.  The characters are realistic for the most part, a bit extreme but it's fiction so that should be expected.  The story seemed like it would be forced but it's amazing to see them interact and learn more about each other.  And the art is amazing, as was expected since everything I find on Lezhin is beautiful.

Definitely recommended if you like BL, and cute or odd couples.

Short Summery: There are better yaoi mangas out there. BJ Alex is smut. BJ Alex should not be read as a romance. However, it also cannot be read as pure smut. It is the perfect combination of "not enough developement" and "not enough smut" to render an experience sublime only to those with virtually no standards. In short- it is difficult to feel anything, waste of time, ect.

...(Major spoiler here: They end up together)

...(Minor spoilers below)

Smut (<-- The basis of the "story"):

BJ Alex manages an incredible feat of being (around) 50% smut! This may seem like a hinderance to story/character/relationship development...

Correction; the story/character/relationship "development" to the smut. Taking out all the... "development" in BJ Alex actually leads to a more enjoyable read. Despite BJ Alex being advertised as a smut manga, so much of it is dedicated to feeding an underdeveloped, dying relationship, leaving most chapters smutless. This would be fine if BJ Alex used these SFW chapters for something. Instead, they are used to explain tragic backstories, showcase endless brooding (the typical "oh, woe is me, he does not love me... he loves thou" or "woe, I have hurt thou... I do not deserve thou..." or "Lol it wasn't my fault; it was my tragic past"), and a couple chapters were about the main character coming out to a friend. Which would be fine, if it wasn't predictable (the friend was okay with it- what a surprise), time comsuming, and if the relationship, story, characters, smut, or anything was developed. Do important arcs about trust and garbage after the main story is actually developed. Had the other 50% been actual developement instead of "not porn- skip" moments, BJ Alex might have been decent. Instead, it fails to be a romance and smut simultaneously.

BJ Alex is fine when it comes to art and character design. If you want to watch a bunch of hot guys d*cking around (not the fun kind; the dull kind), BJ Alex will provide you with the bare minimum for yaoi; nice art and dudes f*cking.

I mean, they exist. The main characters are both guys and are probably in love. So yeah. Bare minumum for yaoi.

Sound design:

Absolutly atrocious. I could only hear the sounds of someone begging me to stop reading, crying out for the pain to end. The quiet whimpers of "it's finally over" was my favorite out of the soundtrack.

In conclusion: Hehe 69.

I took a break from reading yaoi for a while and honestly I am glad that I decided to read this very  saucy realistic yaoi webtoon cause it was so good! Now I have to advice people that there are again a lotta saucy and forceful scenes in this so you have been warned if they don't live up to your standards!

Definitely Jiwon and Dong are a great couple. I didn't think of it at first but honestly as I kept reading on, I felt they were both a match made in heaven. I usually don't go into detail when it comes to yaoi as some tend to have the same storyline but this webtoon is personally for me, one of the decent yaoi stories out there. Not the mega best but does the job for me to be intrigued and interested on how things progessed for the lads!

Give it a read peeps, it's story, characters and art are very well done! ^^
