There are a few unusual things about Cafe Goyo. Number one, their coffee sucks. Number two, their customers never order off the menu. And number three, Yohan, the cafe manager, is deaf. So when Soohwa joins as a part-timer, though he is not expected to learn how to make good coffee, he is asked to expand his sign language vocabulary beyond the words, “higher,” “pay,” and “please.” But when Yohan offers to give him private lessons, Soohwa is reluctant. Not because he doesn’t want to study, but because he has a “hard” time around Yohan. Like, literally. He gets hard. Whenever he hears Yohan’s deep, sexy voice.

I think if you read Bj Alex, you would enjoy this manga too. It is one of the famous ones and it is perfect for you to read when you are done with Bj ALex.

It's the least toxic manhwa I ever read. The main characters are super adorable. The plot is bit simple, but it's very engaging. The conflict is at minimal, so if you're looking for a comfort read. This manhwa is good for you.

Beautiful and gay, that's all I have to say. If you're a yaoi fan you'll love this new BL by Lezhin. Cute, shy mc with a love interest who's a jerk but nice to look at.

Both of these stories have tops who are really mean, and are about college kids figuring out how to properly express their affection

The character dynamic is really similar. One character is a "pretty boy" so to speak and the other is cocky and jealous

If You Hate Me So is pretty good manga, really similar to BJ Alex. If You Hate Me So has couple with complicated backstory same as BJ Alex so go ahead to read it.

College life can be hard. It's even harder when there's a guy you like who isn't being kind to you, but still definitely wants to hook up with you. In both of these stories, you'll find that this is the case, as characters try to grapple with feelings they're not sure they're ready for as they also balance studies and other commitments. Sometimes, it also requires quite a few secrets.

Yours to Claim

Yours to Claim

Nothing crazy ever happens to Jooin. He’s just your average college student, keeping his head down and flying under the radar. Yahwi, on the other hand, is drop dead gorgeous, super popular… but also kinda mean. So why has the campus heartthrob taken an interest in a total nobody? There must be an ulterior motive… but it’s hard to care when faced with those killer looks. Will Jooin become a slave to his desires? Or perhaps he’ll become the master himself…

The relationship in Yours to Claim really reminded me of BJ Alex so I recommend it people who hasn't read it yet. The main lead begin with a toxic relationship where he has an unrequited love for the other. In BJ Alex though they fight and stop seeing each other but gets back and marks the start for a wonderful relationship!! It has yet to happen in Yours to claim so far(ch.46) and personally I like Alex from BJ Alex than Go Yahwi though they are kinda in similar situation.

If I have to say, their circumstances seem really similar and the manhwa's super good so I highly recommend it!!😊😊

BJ Alex is lighter and gayer than Killing Stalking. And yet I can't help but notice some similarities. The main character is crazy for an asshole they had the wrong impression of. There's also the beautifully drawn characters.

Okay listen. Killing stalking and Bj Alex are no where near each other. But both are equally amazing. Killing stalking is thriller/horror/gore whereas Bj Alex is love/smut/fluff and its really weird how they put them together. Major Trigger warning for killing stalking because it gets into some deep shit and bascially scared the crap out me while reading it. It was extreamely sad and the ending was terrible but also so good it made me want more. Bj alex is adorable, how they get together is one of my favorites since readin BL. They get together fast but you still get to see their relationship blossom

Both have an honest approach to sex. If you like hardcore yaoi, these two mangas are for you. Beside the raunchy sex scenes, they both have fairly interesting stories.

Both super sus in the not-so-consensual relationships between guys. But interesting concepts and storyline, and painfully loveable charecters.

From Points of Three

From Points of Three

Jisuh is quiet, unassuming... observant. He’s suited to working behind the camera. But for reasons he’s not exactly quick to disclose, he’s run into some debt. Heejae, an actor he’s worked with before, proposes he work with him exclusively on a private project of his...shooting himself and his partner having sex. Jisuh thought he was hired for his camera skills, but Heejae seems to know an awful lot about him and he can’t help but wonder why he really hired him.

Both relationships in both stories start as an unhealthy relationship, where one person has most of the control and is using the other, and then there is character development, and it turns into a healthy relationship. The characters are also very smiliar.

pitioss pitioss says...

The stories both begin with a sweet, timid protagnoist who is pretty much intimidated by their romantic interest somehow getting roped into kinky stuff they're obviously not fully comfortable with. The romantic interest is more manipulative and domineering to the point of being almost threatening, but softens as the plot progresses. In both the relationship starts off as a sort of "we both know this isn't serious and we're only using each other for sex" sort of thing too - but then here or there someone catches real feelings and things get complicated.

Both stories' protagonist characters - Dong-Gyun and Jisuh - start off meek and easily taken advantage of, but grow stronger and take control in their own way later in the story. The romantic interests - Jiwon and Heejae eventually get knocked down a few pegs when they realize they're capable of feelings too and stop being such arrogant pricks.  Jiwon and Heejae are also each celebrities in their own separate ways, while Dong-Gyun and Jisuh are more quiet and reserved "commoners."  And there's even a perky, chipper, kinky friend character in both - Chanwoo and Sunyool.

junoh99 junoh99 says...

The relationships don't exactly have the same dynamic or growth, but the theme and tone are very similar. From Points of Three is more heavy, but the outcome is really satisfying and (imo) realistic, as with in BJ alex.

Star x Fanboy

Star x Fanboy

What if you could talk to your favorite fictional character every day? And what if they make you feel like the most special person in the world? “Good morning,” “I was thinking about you,” “Sweet dreams,” “See you tomorrow”... Some fans dive into their TV/movie/book obsessions on social media by interacting with accounts that take on the persona of their favorite characters. But what if the person behind that fictional account is actually...the very star who played that role?

Both mangas explore the topic of a down-to-earth guy admiring a distant celebrity who suddenly just crash into his ordinary life. Star x Fanboy might be a lot more innocent and sweeter compared to steamy BJ Alex, but both are a great read none the less.

msong004 msong004 says...

Both stories follow fans who meet and develop a relationship with a famous (or infamous) celebrity. While the story diverges greatly, there are lots of moments whether it be secret-keeping or misunderstandings that draw parallels.

They both have smut, and it's also a love story based on 2 people. And I really enjoyed both of em too. I guess Blood Bank has more action and fantasy and vampires and all- and BJ Alex is more of your normal college yaoi story, other than the fact that Dong-Gyun was in love with a Broadcast Jockey, and it so happens that he finds out that they go to the same college. But I'm sure whoever reads BJ Alex will like Blood Bank and vise versa.

It's also a good bl story where the Uke is a slave and the seme, the rich guy. He's in love with Uke But, doesn't know how to express. There's also another guy who loves seme and try to take over him. U can find how Seme is fond of Uke and how he protects him, and how the ppl try to tear apart those two guys and how the Uke has the depression to leave him alone and tried to leave from the Seme . Omg! The Uke guy is so damn cute in that novel! The Seme is super sexy, too! I love that manga so much. It's still ongoing but, worth trying it.

Full Volume

Full Volume

Dowon has a problem. His neighbor, Beom, seems awfully rude, but he’s infuriatingly gorgeous. And the completely ridiculous cherry on top? Beom turns out to be Dowon’s all-time favorite camboy, which only adds to the (sexual) frustration. Beom is a metaphorical pain in Dowon’s ass, and Dowon would like to return the favor physically, thank you very much. So, Dowon has a problem—in his pants. The question is, how is he going to solve it? You’ll find out the answer if you crank the volume up, and watch very, very closely…

TheMeggyPeggy TheMeggyPeggy says...

Both Lezhin comics are fantastic that carry plot lines: the main character finds out that their favorite cam stars happen to be people that they know. Full Volume is more emotionally tame in the beginning (thus far) compared to the more emotionally controlling relationship in BJ Alex. Don't let that deter you though if that's a deal breaker!

Laiilaah Laiilaah says...

Same BJ concept, one of the leads is a huge fan of the BJ and once he finds out his identity the BJ wants to distance himself. Later on BJ agrees to having sex with his fan and they make it a reocurring thing between the two, without sharing a relationship. Later on the fan starts to develop feeling for the BJ and would like more, but the BJ still only wants a pure physical relationship.
