FullmetalDragon FullmetalDragon says...

Both series are by the same person, and are hella creepy. I mean, I actually physically jumped because of these, and I don't need to tell you how hard it is to achieve that in a manhwa.

nicolledogga1 nicolledogga1 says...

Sweet Home is another webtoon by the same author and eventhough it doesen't look like it is tremendiously similar. I was skeptical about it first because of the plot and because I thought that it would be another cliché story about a zombie apocalipse which are the kind of stories that never intrested me but I was wrong. Sweet Home is much more than a zombie apocalipse, actually it's not even zombies but people that turn into monsters. Just like Bastard it is a psicological drama that will make you think about right and wrong and all inbetween. Sweet Home will show you some wicked truth about humans and their desires you wish weren't true. It is like Bastard because of the way the author will make you think and make you tense at the edge of your seat waiting for the next part.

Made by the same creator and artist team. Both are wonderfully written and give the genre "psychological thriller horror" a run for it's money. Also features protagonists that are similar in seeming like jerks at first, but are actually really sweet.

jammieannie jammieannie says...

They're both by the same author, and whilst I prefer bastard, since i read it completed vs the ongoing sweet home, both are phenomenal dark story that keeps you on the edge of ur seat

LeiFan LeiFan says...

Basically identical art and colouring. Same dull fill in's and same vibes as the artist is the same. Apart from that both are for people who love reading thrillers although one is about an apocalypse and the other is about a serial killer.

radonstark radonstark says...

- Made by same author

- both utilize the "page turn" really well

- both have nice art styles

- both are well paced and characters are well developed

akina451 akina451 says...

same type of art both gruesome and both have the same type of mc  thery are both scary in a way

wintertails wintertails says...

Both are by the same author and have a mentally ill main character that seeks to fix a problem that arises in the story. Both characters meet a female character whom over time they become attached to and will do anything for. Both stories have very good endings and I highly recommend if you read one read the other.

Tetwisted Tetwisted says...

Both awesome works from the same creators, the storys are a bit dark but it grips you until you finnish the whole story.

Athy1 Athy1 says...

They're both really good manhwas i would def recommend this to anyone into mystery. I literally binge read both after completing bastard. But if i had to choose a fav, it would be Sweet Home. I love how the story was told and the characters were also likeable even tho some were sus. I would def recommend to read them both along with (Shotgun Boy)

ShiranaiSan ShiranaiSan says...

Both of these thriller manhwas, despite being written by the same author. are full of twists and turns that keep your stomach in a knot whilst reading. If you like one, you'll certainly love the other.

Killing Stalking

Killing Stalking

He's taken to stalking the object of his obsession, even going so far as to break into Sangwoo's home; but the horrors he discovers in the young man's basement are beyond his darkest nightmares. His would-be prince charming is actually a serial killer, and when Bum is caught trespassing, he soon learns that breaking into a psychopath's house is a lot easier than getting out...

Yakoz Yakoz says...

Both psychological thrillers. Bastard is not a shounen-ai, so don't expect that sort of BL recommendation. But the quality is up there high. Killing Stalking has some explicit content that could bother whoever dislikes BL, but I recommend it anyways because the story is what matters the most.

LavanderGirl LavanderGirl says...

Bastard! & Killing Stalking are similar to each other. Both have a love intrest/obsessive crush and both have criminals. Except in Badtard! case it is actually loving, while in Killing Stalking it is obsession and pain.

YariMari YariMari says...

If you ignore the fact that Killing Stalking is also a yaoi, these two manhwa are very similar in story and tone. In both, the protagonist is a weak guy who is taken advantage of by a serial killer and forced to be an accomplice. The artstyle in both manwha is, while different from each other, very expressive.  There's also this constant feeling that something bad will happen soon, but you never know what or when.

If you're looking for intense psychological horror/thrillers then these two are good picks.

Superior Day has this man be invoved in this crazy murder (game) to save his daughter.

FullmetalDragon FullmetalDragon says...

Both series feature serial killers and how the people close to them end up involved (although slightly more so with Bastard) Both series are pretty interesting, and feature some very insane characters.

LadyPsychic LadyPsychic says...

Both are Korean webtoons that involve serial killers.  Both are very thrilling to read and contain plenty of twists and turns.

An Uncomfortable Truth

An Uncomfortable Truth

Yoseob, normally very quiet and composed, is in the police station convicted of stabbing 8 civilians with a knife. Everyone's wondering whether he actually committed the crime. Does he, a mere high-schooler, really have any reason to have done such a horrifying act? Does his obsessive love for his older brother, Jaeha, have something to do with it?

If you liked Bastard for: the psychological drama, deep characters, dark themes, and suspense, you'll likely enjoy An Uncomfortable Truth. Both manhwa are full color and involve characters trying to navigate around someone close to them (whether via proximity or relationship) who is a psychopath.

YariMari YariMari says...

Both are dark suspenseful manhwa that follow a MC who is living with a mentally unstable person of their family.

FelicityRain FelicityRain says...

Both are psycological and deal characters in their highschool years involved in murder due to the influence of trauma. I found Bastard to be more of a psycological thriller than An Uncomfortable truth, although they both still fit that category well.

Both manga revolve around serial killers and where the main characters are being hunted including fellow serial killers.

Bastard focusses on a serial killer trying to better his life and to stop killing.Peephole focusses on a guy who has given up on life and falls in love with a serial killer and tries to learn about her 'hobby'.
