Both stories are FL dying after failed marriage, and finding in second life that her perception of what happened was wrong the first time.BGoS is pure fairytale with quite smooth progress, tMB is more mature with correction comming at much slower pace with many mistakes still done by main couple.

chubaka chubaka says...

Both FL misunderstood their husbands in their first lives. The husbands are awkward turtles who sucked at showing affection lol. They both fall in both in the second lives. Super cute! I recommend both!

Similar story: the main female lead was sent back in time and wish to avoid the fate they had before. While trying to live to the fullest this time, they get closer to their husbands

Iustina07 Iustina07 says...

Both FLs had the wrong opinion about their husbands and ended up having a terrible marriage and life.

Both FLs end up learning about the true nature of the husbands and fall in love with them. Both MLs are really sweet to them and also very loyal.

Both mangas have the "turned back time after i died" trope.

Both mangas are not only focused on the romantic story, but also the side story:

- in Marriage of Convenience: about politics and war

- in Baroness Goes on Strike: about politics and the main leads getting a better life for their people (the people in the barony)

At first I was attracted to it due to the art . But there was more to it than meets the eye . The only thats killing me is the lack of communication.

In both stories the wife in unhappy marriage dies and gets back to past. Here change in behaviour cause much greater changes in behaviour of her (now young) husband than expected.

MaybeM MaybeM says...

The problems in previous life very cause by misunderstandings. This turn on life let's them see their situation with a new mature prospective. This allows them to reevaluate their situation and come up with a plan of action to improve themselves, their relationships and avoid disastrous future.

Christassea Christassea says...

Both are based on second chance in a marriage with an apparent cold and uncaring husband.Different actions by the main woman lead allow different course of evenements in this second life, which will show how many misunderstandings were in place in first instance.

Alezandra Alezandra says...

Similar premise with the husbands not communicating and striving to work hard to provide for their wives. Both FLs die and come back to change their fates and finally knock some sense with their idiotic husbands.

Villainess in Love

Villainess in Love

So I’ve become Yunifer Magnolia, the villainess who’s crazed with jealousy that Duke Ishid Lucrenze, the devastatingly handsome hero, has eyes only for Raelle, Yunifer’s best friend. Yunifer torments Raelle so much that Yunifer’s killed off at the end. But... I’M Yunifer now. UGH! Good news is, I’ve reincarnated a year before her tragic end, so there’s time to make sure Ishid and Raelle have a fairy tale ending (and I stay alive). Bad news is, I got drunk and woke up with Ishid next to me. Crap.

The female leads are both intelligent and hardworking. The male leads are both heroes/skilled in battle and have tough exteriors but are totally softies for the FL. Both are suggestive/sexual.

This Villainess Wants a Divorce!

This Villainess Wants a Divorce!

We all hate the greedy villains hell-bent on sabotage. Enter Carnelia Easter, the awful secondary villainess of the romance I’m reading, who trapped the prince in marriage at the behest of the evil empress. I didn’t shed a tear when her head’s lopped off, but now I’m Carnelia! I gotta play this smart and convince him to divorce me instead! Still, between the prince, the empress, the heroine, the second prince, my terrible health... this story’s getting unpredictable. Will I survive after all?

Both MCs are kind of looking for a way out of their arranged relationships and both ML are men of action who are very in love with the MC, both of them on the surface may appear remote but are actually very affectionate and quick to blush.
