Yukimi is her real name but everyone calls her Bambi. She is the student discipline committee member who locks students out of the school if they're a minute late, but sneaks cigarette breaks on the roof. Lone wolf transfer student Tetsu Nagasawa hops the fence after she locks it and breaks her cigarette in half when he finds her on the roof, but he's a super nice guy to a mother and baby on the train. Bambi already has a boyfriend but will the wolf steal her heart?
I honestly put this manga off for a while because I wasn't that interested, but one day I thought I would give it a try, and I am so happy I did. This manga's story is so touching and it really gives a beautiful message to the readers. I shed many tears through this and it really touched me. Also the romance is a nice developing one that gets developed in a very sweet way. The author of this manga did a fantastic job with the characters and the story. All I can say is this is a must read you don't find very many great shoujo mangas like this.
I honestly tried liking this shoujo manga but the author seems to have included a disjointed story that doesn't make sense and the art was rather sloppy. I'm disappointed that this story wasn't potential as I thought at first, because the guy is a teen dad and it would've been good to see the challenges he faces as a dad. However there just wasn't enough emotion or intense drama involved. Yeah I'm out...
Let's start off with the story. Basically, the story was really good but I felt like the author could have give more justice to it by portraying more scenes, more drama and more romance between the two main characters. That was the first time I had encountered a story wherein the male lead is a father. I really like that kind of twist so I was like expecting something different. The story's phasing is quite fast, in my opinion. Well, given that the manga is 20 chapters long, I was expecting it half way. But then again, I thought something surprising will happen but I guess not. Anyway, the actual story was really good. Next, the art. The art is quite good, not your typical shoujo manga art but it was impressive in its own way. The characters. I absolutely love the characters. They all have their background story especially the main leads. I shed tears in this manga but not that much unlike when I was reading Orange. I love the way Bambi tries to find a place she belongs and how Tetsu made her realized what she's been missing. I just love how their charatcer develops and how they find romance amidst their personal issues. It was worth reading but expect that it's not that good unlike any other shoujo manga we have read. This one is special and unique in its own ways.
