To know if you will like this manga just read what the MC says right in the beggining of the story and ask yourself if you agree with him or not: "What about the rights of those people he killed?? He kills the citzens who could not defend themselves and yet we are talking about his rights? He should be killed!" You do? Great you will have an amazing time with this manga. You don't? You will look like those other pussy reviewers that think they are on twitter or posting on reddit, just don't read and shut up, no need to preach like a crybaby. Everything about the art is very good except that the artist seem to have a problem with perspective so more often than not things will look a litte weird, especially when you see the MC on his bike. The characters are cool and follow through to their character. Overall I would recommend this, it is a fun ride.
It glorifies the use of deadly force during policing, and portrays standard procedures as unnecessary as long as you have a desire to fight crime in your heart. And it mocks those like Torishima who admonish Date "the Hyena" Kenji for not following the proper procedures by having them be the butt of Date's toilet-humor type pranks. In fact, with how frequently it offers justifications and rationalizations for excessive force, the primary purpose of this manga could be seen as arguing for the need for stricter policing in order to curb violent crimes. The manga also enjoys showing excessive gore--dismembered body parts and spurting blood--and explosions. There are quite a few instances of Date shooting people in the head and causing it to explode (which I don't think is how guns work), though the weirdest ones are when there's a delayed reaction of the bullet passing cleanly through and feir head waiting a few seconds before exploding.
If you love over-the-top action, exploding heads and not much plot, than you will probably love it. Great fun in those regards. But if you want a deep story of any kind, you won't find it here. The chapters - excluding the first two - are episodic, which means you only get one chapter to invest in the characters and plot. Even with the three characters who remain throughout the entire manga, little to nothing happens with them to create any character growth. In short, it's a fun B-movie-esque manga with lots of action and guns. And sometimes that's all ya need.
