A nerdy, introverted gal and an extroverted, former frat guy move into an apartment together after college -- it's a win-win situation for two people who want nothing to do with one another
this webtoon had a really good flow of character development that it kept me entertained and wanting to read more. However I felt nearly everything was rather too fast paced for me to understand how it got there in the first place. I'm talking about how Kurt and Mags already becoming a couple after a few chapters and how Mags was able to identify that Kurts other gf was from a rival agency. I think these parts were not really explained well and it would've been better if these scenes were slow burn. That's just my personal take on this.
I love this series by Monica Gallagher, she posts her comic on Line Webtoon, where it is available to read for free, so you don't have to scour the internet for it. When reading this series, you can tell that Monica put so much into her characters and that they are still developing and maturing to how she writes and portrays them. At first while I was reading this, I wasn't sure who the assassin was, because I didn't read the description first. I usually choose manga, books or comics based on covers (though I was raised to never do that in regards to people), so after the first few chapters sucked me in, I was hooked and it was a surprise for me, which I liked. I then went back to read the description, and was like "oh, that makes sense". Ha, silly me. I strongly recommend anyone who likes romance, with action and some humor mixed in, with a feel-good-about-yourself feel to it. It's definitely one for those who look down on themselves and about overcoming your weakenesses and differences to be with someone you love, while kicking ass too.
