Each chapter begins with the assassin, codenamed Dante, deftly finishing a job and then spending the rest of the chapter doing mundane, slice-of-life activities. The gap between this hardened killer and feir cutesy interests is supposed to add to the adorability (and is likely intended to be funny). Fe lives out in the countryside, loves animals, and excels at cooking, sewing, and other artistic endeavors. We never hear fem say even a single word; fe is the strong and silent type. The heavy shading on the assassin's face, and particularly under feir eyes, makes fem look gaunt and frightening. There is hatchmark and dotted shading, and a collage-style perspective-work. [Originally reviewed at chapter 11] [Updated upon completion] Addendum: After my initial review, there is only a single other chapter and it doesn't really change anything in my assessment. I will add that, in the artwork, the characters can feel stiff and the shading on the assassin's face can be annoying and there isn't always enough distinction between the foreground and background, but some of the plantlife and foodstuff and whatnot can be quite well drawn.
